2. It's the first itsatravelblog trip as a parent.
3. It's a week away from aforementioned child. A week. How horrid that I have to endure this romantic getaway with my husband to MAUI!
4. We're going to party like rock stars. Because of what we know now as parents (that you don't get to party like rock stars very often when you have children).
5. I'm live tweeting this adventure @charliesparents. I just laughed to myself writing the term "live tweet." But it's happening. Don't rob me. I have a Doberman watching my house.
6. It's Maui. MAUI. That should be enough.
